BENEFIT WATT'S UP! - REVIEW

Hi Everyone.....

Back in winter season, I attended my brother's wedding with my makeup done by a local Beautician. Later looking at the pics I knew there was something lacking and that was a touch of a Highlighter... Since then I have been searching for THE BEST Highlighter and I think I got one finally :)))

LET'S SEE WHAT BENEFIT HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS BEAUTY.....

WATT'S UP!
soft focus highlighter for face

Why We Love It

" Our soft focus highlighter turns on "watt" ya got with a delicate champagne glow that's gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder finish... it's a switch on "wow" for all complexions. You'll adore the smooth application & luminous sheen."

WHAT I THINK....

Okay, I admit, I'm a HUGE fan of BENEFIT. I love their packaging and catchy names... (see the impact of clever marketing ;))))... BUT before using this product, I used highlighter by The Bodyshop which is in liquid form and is very difficult to put the right amount and to blend it with your foundation.
Watt's up is in the form of a convenient stick, very easy to apply. There's a small applicator as well but I use my fingers as I believe that's the best way I can blend it. The cream-to-powder formula makes it very blendable. It has a smooth texture.

The result...... it turns your just-okay makeup into a complete model look. It gives a perfect glow to skin. It's shimmery but not glittery... if you know what I mean. It won't scream in your face but rather gives a subtle radiant sheen to your skin. Can easily be applied over foundation but Benefit says it can be used on it's own. I haven't tried it alone though. Here are some swatches

In daylight...
My Final Verdict

My most used product these days. I love how I can create "THAT" glow... Lots of product in one stick, will go for a LONG time.... Get it if you can...

So, I have long stopped going to any Beautician for proper Makeup as now I think I'm my best beautician...
What do you think?

Love you all,

Farah

  1. Wow the swatch looks gorgeous!! I lovee loveee LOVEEEE highlighters!! They are the best things ever!! I am currently using high beam and the body shop radiant highlighter. I do love those but they are more pink than this one. This is so subtle and pretty. And benefit packaging as always is a major WIN!! Where did you get this btw and how much did it cost you?
